Producer and Host, Earth to Humans
Earth to Humans (2014-2023) is a bi-weekly podcast series with a global audience focused on topics in environmental conservation.
I created this podcast series in 2014 and served as its first producer and host. The series now has 3 producers contributing content and is one of the longest running podcast series focused on environmental issues. We’ve produced over 200 episodes of the show, which reaches listeners all across the globe.
Producer and Host, Common Land
Common Land (2020-2023) is a documentary style radio and podcast series that explores the creation stories behind protected areas.
I assembled a coalition of partner groups to bring together the financial, logistical, and creative resources to launch and produce this series. For our first season, which was focused on the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey NCA in Southwest Idaho, I conducted extensive research and numerous interviews, served as the primary series writer, editor and host. Upon completion of season one, I negotiated distribution partnerships that allowed for a nationally syndicated radio broadcast of select episodes. A second season, focused on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, is currently in post-production.
