Co-Director, Sea of Shadows

Sea of Shadows (2019), winner of the Audience Award at Sundance, distributed by National Geographic, and Executive Produced by Leonardo DiCaprio.

As the film’s co-director and associate producer, I was involved in logistics and planning for shoots as well as being a member of the core creative team.  I independently directed scenes; served as a camera operator, sound recordist, and DIT; helped coordinate shoots and served as a liaison for a number of our characters.  I also wrote the first draft of the film’s treatment, and was involved in creative decision making throughout production and post-production. Producer, Director, Editor, Souls of the Vermilion Sea

Souls of the Vermilion Sea (2017), a half hour documentary about the struggle to save the vaquita from extinction.

This independently produced short documentary served as the inspiration for the feature film Sea of Shadows.  The film screened at festivals across the globe, and continues to be used as an educational tool by conservation organizations working to save the vaquita from extinction.
